Amber Lounge on Lonsdale. In the Heart of the CBD with its warm ambience and two spacious bars has the aura and feel of a European Bar.
While the Performance Areas, and possibly the only venue in the CBD with a Built-In On-Demand Foam Party setup, makes it just as much a Party Spot. One to two minutes from nearest station, and more than ample parking all around, makes for location-location-location.
The layout is traditionally clubby; cushy booths adorn the wall, and two bars – one large front bar, and one smaller, more intimate rear bar.
Emphasis is on standing room. There's some good mingling action at the bar and Amber Lounge is a favourite with bucks and hens nights.
